Boeing Wins 9 Billion Dollar Contract for Missouri

IncSmart Missouri (Small Business and Startups) - Boeing wins a 9 billion dollar contract for Missouri.  They will produce the next generation of jets for the United States Air Force.  The new aircraft is combat training aircraft, according to the defense department.  The new airplanes are 30 years overdue.  Remote pilotless drones will soon replace these aircraft as well.  These new planes will stay in service until 2090.  

Boeing will create over 1800 jobs directly and indirectly to the St. Louis area.  Boeing already has 13,700 jobs in the area.  The new plan is to produce 350 Boeing T-X Aircraft.  The planes will be fully operational for deployment by 2034.  The Airforce has acknowledged the old estimate was almost 20 billion dollars, before the Trump era cost saving movement.  The competition on bidding will save tax payers almost 10 billion dollars.  Such substantial cost savings is never heard for military procurement.
