Another California Company Exits China
Yahoo Services Blocked
IncSmart California (Small Business and Startups) - Yahoo's services will no longer be available to mainland China starting November 1. American and Chinese trade, especially digital, are negotiating over technology, with no results for the near future.
Yahoo joins other internet companies such as Google and LinkedIn. China has also implemented a new privacy law restricting what internet companies can collect on Chinese citizens. The new law is also demanding these companies turn over all they have on Chinese citizens. Yahoo is familiar with what happens when they give Chinese government data. They imprisoned dissidents.
