700 Mile Per Hour Hyperloop Commute

IncSmart Missouri (Small Business and Startups) - There could be a hyperloop in Missouri's future.  The hyperloop will give commuters between Kansas City to St. Louis at 700 mile per hour ride.  The Missouri partnership will be a public-private partnership of Missouri scientists, builders and regulators.  The state's congested I-70 corridor between Kansas City and St. Louis will benefit from the new form of transportation.  Federal officials still need to determine whether the hyperloop system is safe enough for both passenger and cargo.  The study will take between six and nine months.

IncSmart New York (Small Business and Startups) - New York City is making plans to become a Biotech hub to boost its place as a tech center.  The city had been losing biotech business to other cities such as Boston and San Francisco.  New York City antes up $100 million of governments funds.  City hall is asking for proposals for the new funds, and is also accepting proposals for the hub and is open to joint ventures from public and private organizations.  The proposals are due by May.

IncSmart Alabama (Small Business and Startups) -   Toyota and Mazda have announced that they have selected Huntsville Alabama as their joint venture manufacturing site. The plant could make Alabama the fourth largest state in America when it comes to auto manufacturing.  Toyota and Mazda annual production capacity will increase to 300,000 vehicles.  The Toyota Mazda incentive package is over $800 million.  This is a new trend of foreign based automakers building American factories in the south.  Detroit still owns the title to automobile manufacturing.

Mexico Loses Plant to Warren
