IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) - Bigelow Aerospace, is already occupying an ISS port with its bedroom-size Bigelow Expandable Activity Module, or BEAM The Bigelow Space Room a test facility for its own line of inflatable commercial space stations. Bigelow’s next major project is a much larger inflatable module in partnership with United Launch Alliance. This new project could fly as soon as 2020. The Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM) is an expandable capsule that van dock with the International Space Station. After docking, BEAM inflates to 13 feet long and 10 feet in diameter to provide a capsule where a crew member can enter.
NASA is planning for a Space Station that orbits the moon instead of earth. Their vision is to make living and working in orbit commonplace to sustain deep space exploration.
