IncSmart Tennessee (Small Business and Startups) - Nashville city officials concealed the true numbers of Covid cases from the restaurants and bars. The numbers were so low, they could not justify the lockdown from these entertainment venues. The information on the Covid cases were discovered in emails between the Nashville Health Department and the Mayors Office on how they would conceal this information from the public.
Contract tracing found that most Covid cases were from the construction industry and nursing homes. Out of the thousands of cases traced, only 22 were from bars and restaurants compared to 1000 in nursing homes. Mayor John Cooper is being told to resign his position because of the harm he caused to the city. The virus has always been an overwhelming threat to senior citizens and people with unhealthy lifestyles. The restriction he put on these venues is poor management.
