IncSmart Florida (Small Business and Startups) - For the first time in more than half a decade, the storied NASA pad 39, was used to successfully complete a critical test firing of the engines to a launch to the space station next weekend. SpaceX signed a 20-year lease with NASA. The launch pad is historical. All of the crewed Apollo missions except for 10, as well as the first 24 space shuttle missions lifted off from this pad.
SpaceX Dragon’s Capsule is to travel to the International Space Station for a resupply mission on Feb 18. Can be seen from Space View Park, in Titusville Florida. With the lease signed for Kennedy Space Center, Titusville will grow. Titusville is about 30 miles east of Orlando off Highway 50. The city's population is 40,000.
