California to Reopen Hair Salons

IncSmart California  (Small Business and Startups) - San Francisco to allow hair salons to reopen days after Nancy Pelosi caused an outcry.  San Francisco Mayor London Breed announced the reopening of Salons, Barbershops, Massage Spas, and Nail Salons to reopen during this pandemic.  The hair salons began opening September 14.  The salons that resume services indoors will need to abide by CDC Guidelines with limited number of patrons.  The customers and the salon staff will be required to wear face masks at all time.  

Pelosi set her sights on Erica Kious, the San Francisco salon owner, with vindictive attacks for bringing to light the plight of salons and barbershops.  Kious was  forced to close the salon, however through a crowdsource account, she was able to raise several hundred thousand dollars to set up a new business in another city.  Local business have been protesting in front of the Pelosi residence since the discovery of her visit to the salon even though the city has a law to keep all salons and barbershops closed.  Americans are reminded of the Pelosi Provision in Washington DC, which may have exacerbated the anger toward the House Speaker.
