DEFINITION
Y2K stands for the Year 2000. This was to be the years most computers would stop working because the software was not relevant past the year 2000. Called the Y2K Bug or the Millennium Bug. It was a problem with the coding of the Operating Systems for computers beyond the date of December 31, 1999.
