A Virginia registered agent is appointed by a Corporation or LLC to receive legal service or service of process for your company. Legal Service is notice of lawsuit. The lawsuit is given to the registered agent by fax, mail, or delivered in person by a Process Server. The registered agent then forwards the lawsuit to the company.
