Trademarks are a recognizable sign, design, or logo which identifies products or services from a Corporation or Limited Liability Company. When a trademark is used to identify a service, are usually called service marks. The trademark owner can be an individual business or organization. A trademark may be located on a package, a label, brochure, or on the product itself.
To file the trademark, you must have ready made artwork and be able to prove the mark is already in use and has been in use for a particular period of time, depending on the state requirements. Trademarks can be filed nationally or in states.
