DEFINITION
En Banc is a legal term for bringing in judges. Quorum of Judges. A case is heard in front of all judges of the court, instead of one judge or a panel of judges. Also referred to as a Full Bench. The Circuit Court of Appeals uses a panel of judges, but when a case is extremely important they may use the full court of judges.
