Tyson Foods Plans for Utah
1200 Positions in Three Years
IncSmart Utah (Small Business and Startups) - Tyson Fresh Meats plans for $300 million dollar meat packaging plant for Utah County. This new plant will add an estimated 27 million dollars in the next ten years for the state. The Economic Development Board of Directors voted for post performance tax credit of $5 million dollars over 10 years. The state is also offering $300,000 for infrastructure. The new plant will be over 400,000 square feet in size.
