DEFINITION

The Angel Investor Act, also called the High Growth Small Business Job Creations Act   This act is a South Carolina Law that provides tax credits to angel investors who make qualified investments in qualified business.  Encourage investment in early-stage high growth job creating business to expand the South Carolina economy.  You must ask the SOS if your business is a qualified business.
