Veterans SBA in District of Columbia
IncSmart District of Columbia (Small Business and Startups) - Veterans SBA in District of Columbia.  The SBA or Small Business Association,  offers many resources for veterans who want to start there own companies.  The SBA Veterans advantage is waving all fees for loan qualifications if approved.  The SBA loans are not given by the SBA, but rather, the SBA facilitates the veteran in finding a loan that the SBA will give a government backed loan guarantee.

Veterans own 9% of all American businesses and hire over 6 million employees. The SBA has a program called Boots to Business, that will help veterans with startups.  The SBA also has the 7a Program which offers loans to veterans with good credit.  The SBA Express Loan program can provide loans up to $350,000, payable in seven years.  The decision on these loans are made within 36 hours.  The census has found that military veterans are more likely to own a small business than non military citizens, but are finding it harder to secure a loan.
