IncSmart Utah (Small Business and Startups) - The drought is over for Great Salt Lake.  Winter storms have raised the levels of Salt Lake bringing back the sport of boating.  Get your boats ready.  It is going to be a great summer.  The Salt Lake Marina offers 300 slips for boat owners.  The Great Salt Lake is the largest lake in the United States that is not part of the Great Lakes region. 

The marina is continuing its work on dredging and removing more silt.  The project fees are  $1.5 million.  The clubs and business at the marina are happy they are going to be open this year.  The marina is 20 miles west of Salt Lake City.  The Great Salt Lake is located north and west of Salt Lake City. To reach Antelope Island, drive north on I-15 to Syracuse, then west on U-127, following the signs. A causeway has been built to allow automobile access to the island. Great Salt Lake State Park is located at the south end of the lake and about 16 miles west of Salt Lake City, along I-80.
