Initially, the job offerings will be over 800 employees.  They expect to expand to 1200 positions in three years.  Tyson hopes to open the no Salt Lake City plant in 2021.  Several potential Salt Lake City sites are under discussion.  Starting wages at Tyson Foods other plants start between $14.40 and $16.50 an hour.  The new plant will produce trays of meat from factory to retail grocery stores.
