IncSmart California (Small Business and Startups) - Trump just released an executive order for California drones. The Federal Aviation Administration will start granting waivers in zones used to track drone operations. The Trump administration eased the restriction on these drone zones, for companies such as Amazon and it's package deliveries and other commercial uses in the United States.
The drone zones will allow companies to prove if drones can be operated safely. Federal Aviation Administration regulations were keeping the industry from expanding. Drones were instrumental in helping first responders and insurance companies after Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Companies such as Kespry, in Menlo Park, have been using drones in mining and construction. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao also stated that drones helped in damage control including the California’s wildfires.
