100,000 Full Time Workers Over the Next 18 Months
IncSmart Maryland (Small Business and Startups) - On August 2 Amazon will hold a nationwide job fair in 12 cities called the Amazon Jobs Day. They plan on hiring over 100,000 full time workers over the next 18 months. In Baltimore alone, Amazon will hire 1200 new employees. Amazon hopes to capitalize on the increasing number of jobless retail workers. The retail workers have been laid off as malls begin to close. The Baltimore facility is the former General Motors plant in Southeast Baltimore. The job fair could help cut Baltimore's high unemployment.

$90 Million Dollar Expansion in Lehi
IncSmart Utah (Small Business and Startups) - Software giant, Adobe is going to spend $90 million and expand current facility at it's Lehi campus along interstate 15. That number of jobs would about double the Utah workforce of the San Jose, California. The Office of Economic Development said it is extending an incentive of up $25.7 million to Adobe, which consists of a rebate of up to 30 percent of new state taxes expected to be generated by the expansion over 20 years.

This is the fastest speed yet for any Hyperloop. The test was for a suspended, vacuum sealed tube. The track was one third mile long in the desert north of Las Vegas. Hyperloop is now in it's second phase, the design of the pod train. The goal is to reach speeds of over 250 miles per hour.
