Snap Opens Location in Utah

IncSmart Utah (Small Business and Startups) - Snap to open location in Utah. The Utah Economic Development Office said Snap will bring new jobs to the state. Snap Inc has not yet decided where the new office will be located. Snap Inc. is the creator of Snapchat, a camera application that helps people communicate through videos and images. Snap has more than 3,000 employees worldwide.

Utah and the Economic Development Office offered Snap a 20 percent rebate on the company's expected tax liabilities. This should help with the opening of the new location and add to the growing tech companies in the state. The new location is creating a Snap team that will be working on camera technology and augmented reality software. Snapchat is a multimedia messaging platform for smart phones.
