Pennsylvania Ports
IncSmart Pennsylvania (Small Business and Startups) - Terminals, wharfs, and cargo cranes means more jobs for the Port of Philadelphia.  From repairing ship berths, the purchase of new cranes to updating and relocating warehouses, Philadelphia plans on doubling its cargo-handling.  2000 waterfront jobs, with support jobs surpassing 7,000 for truckers, rail workers, and suppliers.

The investment is well over for the $300 million for improvements.  With the ships getting bigger and bigger, the Delaware River is also being deepened along 103-mile waterway to Philadelphia.
