IncSmart Pennsylvania (Small Business and Startups) - The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center of Bucks County is expanding. This expansion will add 38,000 square feet of space. Along with the new space, the expansion has added over 300 scientists and business entrepreneurs. The expansion includes 40 new business offices and 15 new laboratories.
The Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center is funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the Hepatitis B Foundation. The facility originally opened in 2006 in abandoned warehouse in Doylestown Pennsylvania, 30 miles north of Philadelphia and 80 miles southwest of New York City. The campus has grown to over 110,000 square feet of space.
