Northrop Grumman Hires in Florida
IncSmart Florida (Small Business and Startups) - A report from the U.S. Department of Defense shows a new contract is to support its E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. Northrop Grumman will hire180 employees.  The company is hiring analysts and engineers in software, mechanical and cyber security.  Northrop Grumman Corp won a $7.5 million contract to perform services on an aircraft and is expanding its Central Florida workforce.  

The program currently supports about 800 jobs in Melbourne. Northrop Grumman is building a 500,000-square-foot business complex and plans to hire nearly 2,000 workers.  The region has contracts over $4 billion in government projects each year.   Americas Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines simulation operations are based in Central Florida Research Park.  Many jobs will be filled in Melbourne, Orlando, Cape Canaveral and Apopka.  Service industries in these areas are growing as support business is growing.
