North Dakota Scholarship Program

IncSmart North Dakota (Small Business and Startups) - A North Dakota Scholarship Program has been created by North Dakota business that are having difficulty hiring and training employees for these high demand positions with technical skills.  These skills require an education beyond High School but not requiring a four year degree.  The legislature has approved the funds but are looking at for matching funds from local employers who need the positions filled.  Business can donate funds to the scholarship or the repayment program.  Business can also pick which colleges, programs and educators.  

The skilled workforce scholarship program includes a student loan repayment program.  They are available for all schools, pubic, private and tribal.  The total funding per student can reach up to $17,000.  All programs must be completed in four semesters or less.  The program is not only for students just finishing high school.  The educators are looking for students with the ages from 30 to 40.
