North Carolina Approves of Tarriffs

IncSmart North Carolina (Small Business and Startups) - North Carolina approves of Trumps new tariffs on wooden cabinets and vanities.   The new Chinese tariffs will reach $4.4 billion dollars.  China is accused of dumping wooden  products such as cabinets and vanities on the American market at an unfair value for American cabinet makers.  Chinese furniture producers have become a market leader in RTA - Ready to Assemble - furniture.  

Washington announced October 3, another round of steep tariffs.   This tariff will benefit wood workers in North Carolina.  The American Kitchen Cabinet Alliance, asked President Trump to intervene on behalf of American companies.  The US International Trade Commission made the decision on Wednesday to impose anti dumping rules.  American manufactures say the dumping has caused a lowering of demand from American companies.  Lawmakers on Capital Hill are listening.  These very lawmakers are concerned about layoffs in American plants.
