The hub's goal is to be a place to start biotechnology companies.  There are several locations under consideration.  One is land the city owns land in East Harlem.  The site is on the corner of Second Ave and 127th street. The Economic Development Corporation is also seeking money from public and private enterprises for the new home of the life science facility.
