New Life in Michigan Dead Zone
IncSmart Michigan (Small Business and Startups) - New life so coming to the Michigan dead Zone.  The 50 block development called District Detroit is coming alive with new investments.  The Ilitch family plans to invest over $200 million in private funds for a new $863 million arena.  The arena will be in exchange for public dollars. The family owns the Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers, and Little Caesars Pizza.  A hotel is also on the planning table.

District Detroit is going to be the surrounded by new developments that will replace vacant and buildings in ruin.  This will have a huge impact on the neighborhood.  There will be new commercial and entertainment as well as at least six residential developments.  Construction worker have already had an impact for local business.  New jobs and new development are happening every day.  The soon to be residential development will host a total of 686 unit, bringing more money to a much needed community.
