Nevada Shell Corporations
IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) - Yes it's legal.  "If I were to own a business, I could file with the Secretary of State, 20 business, and they could be shell corporations with the only purpose of funding money to a candidate".  Former Nevada Secretary of State Dean Heller.  Some state laws, such as Nevada, New Mexico and Delaware, requires little more than a name, (not the owners name) and an address from a campaign contributor.

It is an easy way to hide behind Corporations and LLCs. Any one can move money into a state's political landscape without anyone knowing about it. You can create as many companies as you want with the only purpose of funding money to a candidate. By using nominee officers, no one will even know it is you. You are only allowed by law to contribute $10,000 to a candidate. But each entity that is created is also allowed to give $10,000 to a candidate. As a result, literally hundreds of thousands of dollars can be funneled into a campaign from any state or any country. What better way to having closer ties with a representative. Politicians will raise as much money as they can, and never have to report where the money came from.
