Nevada Marijuana Lounges
IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) -  City and County officials want to make Las Vegas, the first city in the country to open marijuana lounges.  They hope to have the lounges opened by March or April of 2017.  The lounges may also obtain separate licenses to sell marijuana paraphernalia, such as pipe and bongs.  The lounges are also looking at food service , as long as the food does not contain pot or pot oils.  The lounges will not sale pot, but will allow customers to bring their own.

The Nevada pot market has soared past the Colorado pot market.  The Nevada market is over $38 million, and $20 million in tax revenue.  The target projections are on track to reach $622 million by 2020.   Black market speakeasies have already started showing up in the city.  The consumption lounges will combat these businesses.  They are hoping to follow the cafe's in Amsterdam.  The reason behind the speakeasies, is that visitors do have a place to smoke marijuana.  It is illegal to smoke in public or in your hotel rooms.
