Nevada Marijuana Consumption Lounges

IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) - Nevada marijuana consumption lounges to open in Las Vegas. A big victory for the 39 million tourists a year that can purchase marijuana, but have to place to smoke. Currently pot smoking is off limits in Casinos, bars, or hotels. It will take several months for the recreational sales outlets to get permits to open lounges on the premises. Las Vegas will be the first city in Nevada to approve the lounges.

The Las Vegas City Council approved the measure for downtown and the city of Las Vegas, but the strip is still off limits. The city will impose a $5000.00 license fee. Patrons must be at least 21 years old and must bring their own marijuana into the lounge. Customers can currently buy cannabis at a dispensary but the only legal place to smoke is at home. Buying recreational marijuana has been legal since 2017.
