Missouri Ice Rink Complex
IncSmart Missouri (Small Business and Startups) -  A new multimillion dollar ice rink complex is awaiting approval form the National Park Service.  The new center will serve as a practice facility for the St. Louis Blues, and local St Louis residents youth and amateur hockey organizations.  The new center will be built at Creve Coeur Lake Park.  Creve Coeur Lake Memorial Park is a 2,145-acre St. Louis County park located in Maryland Heights, north east of St. Louis on the Missouri River.

The St. Louis Legacy Ice Foundation is the organization which will lease the land and building.  The project will receive $39.8 million in bonds to finance much of the rinks. The 254,000-square-foot facility calls for three indoor ice rinks and one covered outdoor rink.  Total project costs, including interest and bond reserves, are estimated at $66 million.  The ice rink complex is projected for completion by  September 30, 2018.
