The manufacturing company is going to create 4000 jobs and are currently hiring administrative staff and maintenance positions. They will start posting jobs starting this summer. They are now hiring team leaders that will be trained in Japan. Limestone County has led all counties in growth and investment with over 4000 jobs as part of the Trump economy.
The new facility is under construction on Highway 20. The $1.6 billion dollar plant is located in Limestone County began last November. The plant will open in 2020 and start production in early 2021. The plant will produce 3000 cars ever year. Construction is on schedule and 2500 construction workers will be employed this summer. Interstate 565 and Interstate 65 will also need to be widened. Interstate 265 will soon by 6 lanes as the investment of Mazda Toyota continues to grow and the Huntsville area will need to have a larger infrastructure to accommodate employees.
