IncSmart Maryland (Small Business and Startups) - Alexa for Hospitality is Amazon's new hotel room program. Alexa, by Amazon, the Seattle tech giant, will be programmed for hotels so guest can order from the front desk. You do not have to have an Amazon account to use this new service, however guest will also be able to log in to their Amazon accounts. Customize Echo features for each hotel property.
Amazon is starting this program with Marriot's Westin Hotel chain. The text program starts with North Carolina and California. 10n locations over the summer. Alexa will work with the hotels WIFI networks. You will be able to check out of your room without stopping at the front desk.
