The Best Summer Ever

Fathers Day

Father's Day is a day for Dad. We not only honor our father, but all men who have acted as a father figure in our life - whether as Stepfathers, Uncles, Grandfathers, or "Big Brothers." The first Father's Day was observed on June 19, 1910 in Spokane Washington.  In 1966 President Lyndon Johnson signed a presidential proclamation declaring the 3rd Sunday of June as Father's Day

Steak Grilling Tips

- Turn the forth time and continue grilling for 2 plus 1 minute per 1/2 inch.
- Check for doneness with a meat thermometer at 140 degrees.
- Well done, remove from grill.
- Let steak rest for 2-3 minutes before serving

Lets Get Married

This month is June, and the busiest wedding month of the year. If you’ve ever wondered why so many weddings take place in June, the tradition began hundreds of years ago with Roman mythology. The month of June is named after Juno, the goddess of love and marriage.  Avoid Summer holiday weekends like Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day.
