IncSmart Nevada (Small Business and Startups) - Hyperloop One makes history. The world’s first successful hyperloop system has passed it's test. The test reached 70 mph. This is the fastest speed yet for any Hyperloop. The test was for a suspended, vacuum sealed tube. The track was one third mile long in the desert north of Las Vegas. Hyperloop is now in it's second phase, the design of the pod train. The goal is to reach speeds of over 250 miles per hour.
Devloop is the company's Nevada testing facility. It is located 30 minutes north of Las Vegas. The next phase are the sealed passenger pods. They have unveiled the prototype of its Pod that will work within the integrated system. The pods are using electromagnetic propulsion and magnetic levitation. These new pods will transport passengers and cargo inside the tube. The Hyperloop team has more than 150 engineers, technicians and fabricators over 240 total employees at the test site. They have changed a barren stretch of desert into an engineering dream land.
