General Motors California
IncSmart California (Small Business and Startups) - General Motors, the largest U.S. automaker,  is investing $14 million in a new research and development campus in San Francisco.  The auto company is creating hardware and software for vehicles without the driver steering or braking. This deal was finalized by GM securing $8 million in state tax credits. 

Autonomous Vehicle Technology automobiles from General Motors are testing now Detroit  and Scottsdale.  General Motors has also rolled out it's Maven a car sharing company.   Available in San Francisco today. It is one part of a continued roll-out in several cities throughout the U.S., which started at the beginning of this year.   Maven has also introduced one-way rental service, allowing drivers to pick up a car in one place and drive it to the next destination without needing to return it.
