North Dakota Pipeline Begins Service
North Dakota Oil heads South the Gulf of Mexico
IncSmart North Dakota (Small Business and Startups) - Energy Transfer Partners announced today that the pipe line carrying North Dakota oil through South Dakota and Iowa to it's final destination in Illinois for shipment to customers has begun. The oil then moves to the Dakota Access and the Energy Transfer Crude Oil Pipeline from Illinois to the Gulf Coast. The pipeline should deliver 520,000 barrels daily. The 1,200 miles line of pipeline will transport light, sweet crude oil from North Dakota to the refining markets in direct and cost effective manner, safer and more environmentally responsible than any other modes of transportation, including rail or truck.

Production could begin in 2021 and lead to 120,000 barrels per day. The North Slope find comes less than six months after Caelus Energy and private-equity giant Apollo Global Management announced a massive Alaska oil discovery in the waters of Smith Bay, 100 miles west of Prudhoe Bay.
