The 2017's spending plan is $100 million more than 2016's spending plan. Eli Lilly and Company is an American global pharmaceutical company with headquarters located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Eli Lilly has hired 400 manufacturing workers in Indianapolis during the last five years and has a total of 6,000 manufacturing workers in the U.S. This investment will boost job growth in Indianapolis. Indianapolis upgrades will include $85 million to increase manufacturing operations and expand assembly of an injection device for the diabetes drug dulaglutide.
