District of Columbia vs NFL

IncSmart Washington DC (Small Business and Startups) - The 2017 football season is in disarray.  Pundits are calling the season the death of the NFL  Clearly the Trump Train has made this an issue and Americans are not happy with the league.  The problems for the NFL began with the widely unpopular protest of the teams and the millionaire players during the national anthem.  The protests have left the field and jumped to the stadium stands.  Hundreds of players are protesting the flag, but millions of fans have dumped the games.  The 6.3% drop in viewers represents $500 million in potential lost revenue for the networks showing the games on TV.  More attention has been paid to the behavour of the players before the game than the game playing out on the field.  what’s actually happening on the field.  

The FNL ratings have been on a steady decline.  The ratings for Week 11 dropped 6.3 percent compared to last year's Week 11.  This is a loss of 1 million viewers.  NFL ticket sales are also art a new low.  There is a 17.9 per cent decline.  This decline is being reported as the largest in  years.  Fans are protesting on social media and showing videos of people promising to never support the NFL again as they show a picture of how they disrespect America.
