IncSmart Louisiana (Small Business and Startups) - DXC Technology creates new Louisiana jobs. The Virginia-based company, DXC Technology is an IT services company,providing technology support and consulting services for businesses and governments. The Digital Transformation Center will include cloud computing, cyber security, and data analytics. Louisiana will put up more than $44 million in incentives. The package includes a $25 million investment in a higher education to expand the number of degrees awarded in computer science from local colleges and universities.
DXC will be become one of New Orleans largest employers. They will establish a Digital Transformation Center downtown nest to the Mercedes Benz Superdome. The company will create over 2,000 permanent tech jobs over the next seven years. DXC will hire 300 IT and business enterprise professionals during 2018, then increase employment up to 2,000 jobs over five years and an annual payroll exceeding $133 million by 2025. DXC was formed this year by a merger of CSC and Hewlett Packard Enterprises.
