An entertainment complex will also include a roller coaster ride. Squaw Valley is now ready to compete with other skit resorts in the west, including Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. The expansion will produce $22 million in tax revenue, $20 million in transit initiatives and $150 million in new infrastructure.
Squaw Valley is becoming a year round mountain resort destination and playground. Lake Tahoe is a tourist dependent economy. Customer are demanding more activity options which includes the 1 billion dollar expansion. Homewood Mountain Resort will become a winter and summer destination complete with a four-story hotel, two lodges, penthouse condos and a swimming pool. The project will build a huge year round adventure camp with swimming pools a nd rock climbing walls.
