IncSmart Missouri (Small Business and Startups) - The Missouri National Guard had been activated as the state recovers from last week storm and ongoing flood fighting efforts.  The storm is 8 years to the day of the Joplin disaster, which was the deadliest tornado after the St. Louis tornado May 27 1896 where 255 people were killed.  The Joplin tornado killed over 150 people.  And EF3 tornado tore apart building in the Jefferson City, the capital.  Jefferson City damage encompasses a three mile area.  The American Red Cross is accepting donations for disaster relief victims.  Magellan Health is also providing trauma and fear counseling for victims of the storm.

IncSmart Arkansas (Small Business and Startups) - Arkansas hires hundreds of truck drivers to cover shortages.  The salary for the new drivers is increasing to $90,000 a year.  Included with the pay increase, Walmart is adding 1 cent per mile in addition to the 88 cents per mile they are paying.  The median salary for truck drives is $54,000 a year, according to The American Trucking Association.  The association also said there is a nationwide shortage of truck driver and the number could be as high as 175,000 by the year 2026.

IncSmart Alaska (Small Business and Startups) - Recovery in Alaska Begins after an earthquake seven miles northwest of Anchorage.  There were no fatalities.  President Trump said no expense is too great from help from the Federal Government.  The state is just beginning to evaluate the damage.  This quake was not as severe as the quake in 1964 of 9.2 magnitude that resulted in 129 deaths, but the state warned it would takes weeks to recover, as they are still fighting hundreds of gas leaks that are causing fires.
