DEFINITION
The 8th Amendment of the Constitution states excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. You cannot deny prisoners medical attention, access with attorney, safety from health hazards, access to religious services, freedom from excessive force. Prisoners Rights.
