ARKANSAS
All Foreign and Domestic Non Profits are now required by law to file an Annual Report updating corporate information to the Arkansas Secretary of State. The deadline is August 1st of each year.
CALIFORNIA
Statements are being mailed to all California companies from Department of California Collectors (DCC). This is an invoice for $175. Do not pay this envoice. This company has nothing to do with the state.

With the closing of all California Secretary of State satellite offices, the time for filing takes about two (2) months. The counter service takes that long as well. California has a page on its web site for filing dates. GO TO -
FLORIDA
All business reports are due by May 1st. Annual Reports filed after May 1st will be assessed a $400.00 late fee, which cannot be waived.
MARYLAND
As a result of several changes in State law, the annual report fee for most legal entities has increased to $300. This fee is for the privilege of maintaining a legal entity’s existence in Maryland, and is due and payable with the filing of the personal property return.
MISSISSIPPI
All limited liability companies operating in Mississippi will be required to file an Annual Report with the Secretary of State beginning in 2011. The new LLC Annual Reporting Forms will be available to the public on Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, on the Secretary of State’s web site at www.sos.ms.gov. The deadline for completing the report is April 15, 2011. Foreign LLC may not file reports online. The Foreign fee is $250.
MONTANA
LLCs created for automobiles in California and Recreation Vehicles in Colorado and Massachusetts are having problems with local authorities checking license plates for "Lost Revenue". Montana LLCs are not recommended for these three areas.
NEVADA
Nevada has now joined Colorado with SAME DAY filings. No more expedite fees. You will still need to upload the Registered Agent signure form, but your documents will be returned by email as filed right away.
The Nevada Secretary of State has now required a Business License when you file your annual report. The fee is $200, and the late fee is $200. Exemptions are below -
1 - Government Entity, 2 - Non Profits, 3 - Home office with earnings under $27K, 4 - Business is rental properties with 4 or less units, 5 - Business is Motion Picture industry, and 6 - Insurance Companies.
Statements are being mailed to Nevada companies from Compliance Notification Incorp. If you are tricked (SLAMMED) into changing your Registered Agent, contact the Nevada Attorney General's Office
NEW MEXICO
The New Mexico Public Regulation Commission has instituted a Expedite Service. $300 for 24 hours and $200 for 48 hours. The filings still have to be mailed. There are no fax or internet services available. The expedite filing starts when they open mail.
WASHINGTON
Original Bar Coded sheets must now be returned with all supplementsl filing information or payment information. Failure to return the bar code may lead to the rejection of the filing, and the original payment will not be refunded.
WYOMING
Wyoming companies are having problems with attorneys acting as Registered Agents. If you have hired an attorney to be your Registered Agent, and they did not fulfill the service for which you hired them, contact the Wyoming State Bar
